That time when my work was in Vancouver Fashion Week with several of Canada’s top fashion photographer’s, in a show entitled “Not fit for Print”. Also I was interviewed & featured in 24h mag!
Sometime back in 2006, I entered a book store and asked if I could place my promotional post cards there, & I heard someone say “I’ll take one”. When I turned around I neglected to recognize who I was talking to, so I gave him a card and walked out.
When I was outside i heard the same voice say “hey, Not sure if you recognized me, but I would like to introduce myself I’m Ashley MacIsaac.” I actually didn’t believe it was him and said nice to meet you, and left. The next day I received a call from his agent at the time, asking to set up a photo shoot for his next album release “Pride”… sometimes your career can take you in the strangest of places, but in the end you will see that all these little events lead up to where you are meant to be.

I recently had the opportunity to work with up and coming Canadian celebrity interviewer, Marc Andrew. He has interviewed stars like Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, & Fergie. We shot at the Sheraton Hotel Penthouse lounge, it was an amazing location and background for this theme. Marc Andrew is wearing men’s wear by celebrity designer Caroline Nero. Photography by myself, Angelique Caplette.
This was a creative photo shoot with Toronto model/actress Premika Leo, shot in my old apartment in Verdun, Quebec. We literally threw the wig on her and went “freestyle” as I call it, no plan just shot and had fun. I love this set, this is what happens when the model and photographer create magic together! Hope you enjoy!
Loved working with Montreal model Leah Rose on this editorial style photo shoot. It was for shot for her model portfolio, and was shot in my old apartment in Verdun, Quebec. Despite the fact we had no professional make-up artist at that time, we managed to come out with some hot images. I styled the hair myself, as I am more concerned about the way hair looks in a photograph than the make-up. Leah is one of my favourite models as she is extremely versatile and can come across as many different characters, depending on the look you are going for. I hope you enjoy these shots, comments are welcome!
